About Recover Wholeness

A mindful path through addiction — for those who can't wait for "perfect."

Born from outreach to people who couldn't afford conventional care, we pair mindfulness-based skills with the right local resources — so you can take the next honest step today.

Our Story

Recover Wholeness began as an outreach for people facing substance use disorder who couldn't afford conventional care — many of them court-ordered to complete weekly group hours.

We offered those groups, and we connected people who wanted one-on-one work with licensed therapists, at no cost. Today, this site carries that same mission forward: equip you with mindfulness-based tools, point you to the right local resources, and walk with you as you reclaim a whole life.

How serious is what you're feeling?

These reflection questions mirror the criteria clinicians use to gauge substance use disorder. They aren't a diagnosis — they're a starting point for an honest conversation with yourself, a sponsor, or a professional.

Get a professional assessment
  • 1Do you use more, or longer, than you intended?
  • 2Have you tried to cut down and not been able to?
  • 3Does using — or recovering from using — take up large parts of your day?
  • 4Are you experiencing strong cravings or urges?
  • 5Is use affecting work, school, or relationships?
  • 6Are you using in situations that are physically dangerous?
  • 7Have you needed more of the substance to get the same effect?
  • 8Do you experience withdrawal when you stop?
